ABOUT THE PROJECT
Dance Hack
DanceHack is an annual San Francisco-based event that brings together performers and developers to inspire one another and experiment with emerging technologies, here in the SF/Bay Area and around the world. This year will be the 5th annual DanceHack SF, the 3rd Co-Presented by Kinetech Arts and CounterPulse.
DanceHack is an opportunity to spark unconventional applications of new tech tools and innovative dance material to create amazing live experiences.
DanceHack takes place over two days:
Day 1 – Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM: Teams of Dancers and Hackers collaborate over the course of the day, combining their expertise to create unique performance experiences. There will also be tech and dance workshops TBA.
Day 2 – Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM: More workshops TBA.
Sunday, 7pm: The Dance + Hacker teams present works in the performance space at CounterPulse, based on the previous day’s discoveries.
